...an exciting creator of experimental works, an audiovisionary... of national and international representation. Ashim Ghosh intervenes on a range of fronts, from top end corporate communications & training, to activism using photography, video, music and multi-channel soundscape design. He has exhibited and performed widely as a multiple media artist, in and out of India, for over 20 years. One of the primary foci in Ghosh's creative activism interventions since 1994, has been an engagement with and presentation of various perspectives on masculinities. From 2000 onwards, this primary engagement has continued to evolve and change under the umbrella of "The Missing Ling". From classic photographic display and video installation to multi-channel soundscape and live audiovisual music performance, the project offers diverse perspectives on masculinity, located across the variegated socio-culture of India.
