ABG moved to Delhi as a qualified surgeon over 40 years ago. Since then he has been treating rich and the poor with equal care and consideration. Today, he has retired he runs a day clinic at home, where his patients can track him down and seek his opinion. He spends his time educating his community about health issues and encouraging families in the slums to send their children to school. Perhaps the easiest is to present an extremely brief CV to chart his surgical career...

On the 1st of October 2007, Dr. A,B.Ghosh was honoured by the Indian Medical Association, New Delhi, for his valuable work in community health. More recently on the 1st July 2008, on Doctor's Day, he was honoured with the Eminent Medical Person Award by the Delhi Medical Association.
